Up to 2016, you either had to speak good enough Hungarian to be admitted to our beginner groups or had to revert to personal or semi-private training to get started. Also, the timing of our deals didn’t normally line up with the structure of the academic calendar.  Growing demand, however, made us re-think our policies and develop an easier and more affordable way for non-Hungarian students to join our School of Strength and Movement (Hungarian students are certainly also welcome, as long as they speak good enough English to get along at our introductory seminar, see below.) So the waiting is finally over:

Find out for yourself, what the StrongFirst hype is all about 🙂

First things first: let’s see what you’re getting into.

What we do at Kettlebell Debrecen is twofold:

On one hand we strive to get strong first (duh, lol), and use our strength as a master quality to improve all other physical abilities and achieve common goals like fat loss, muscle building, general conditioning etc. We believe that good technique and proper form are key: for safety, optimal performance, health and longevity; so we lay more emphasis on quality than on quantity. No mindlessly chasing numbers here, no 🙂

On the other hand we are aware of the fact that we all spend too much time sitting and that brings about a special set of difficulties to deal with: posture problems, movement restrictions, faulty breathing patterns, loss of mobility and flexibility, insufficient stability, back pain, etc. We pick and choose from a lot of sources here, like Functional Movement Systems, Z-Health, Original Strength, even yoga and physiotherapy.

We have a unique system of hundreds of training program templates built upon one another and fully customized to your needs and abilities as we go to ensure continuous improvement, so you basically reap the benefits of personal training while having the fun and motivation (AND the reasonable prices!) of group training.

And of course, feel free to explore the site 🙂

As for posture and movement corrections, you can google the sources listed above, or start at this (somewhat lengthy) piece on the basic principles.

If you have questions, objections or suggestions, let’s discuss them at our Facebook event page!
